Our Story
The roots of CarTub Auto Detailing run deep, inspired by family, hard work, and a dedication to quality. The story began with my grandfather, Stan, who spent over 19 years building a thriving mobile detailing business in Fort Lauderdale. Stan initially balanced his detailing work part-time while holding a position with the City of Coral Springs. As his reputation for exceptional car care grew, he transitioned into full-time detailing, operating out of the back of his pickup truck.
Stan’s passion for meticulous craftsmanship and his entrepreneurial spirit were contagious. He gifted me one of his small vacuums when I was in high school in Jamaica, sparking my own love for car care. Washing cars for side money in my neighborhood soon became a hobby that shaped my future. After Stan retired and moved back to Jamaica following my grandmother’s passing, his tips, tricks, and unwavering commitment to quality stayed with me and became the foundation of CarTub Auto Detailing.
The business officially launched in 2020, a year after being registered in memory of my grandmother in 2019. Starting small in a coworker’s driveway, I performed my first signature services on an RV and three other vehicles from her neighbors. With growing support and demand, I invested in tools, a generator, a power washer, and a water tank that all fit into my mom’s compact Hyundai Accent. This humble beginning laid the groundwork for what CarTub is today—a fully equipped mobile detailing company built on passion, dedication, and excellence.
